The Challenge

Job seekers waste time applying to "ghost" listings that are never filled or stay online for months, and it is hard to find genuine employee experiences about companies.

Our Solution

We built a Chrome extension that adds a side panel to LinkedIn job pages. It automatically detects the listing and company being viewed and, through a backend API, shows listing signals, employee reviews and anonymous notes from other users. Listing and company notes can also be browsed in the web panel.

Key Features

Chrome extension for LinkedIn (Manifest V3)
Signals for suspicious / ghost job listings
Genuine employee reviews per company
Anonymous note sharing
Content script that tracks navigation and detects the listing and company
REST API, website and admin panel powering the extension

Results

Signals and user notes have been collected for 107 listings and 73 companies.
The extension is being prepared for re-release on the Chrome Web Store under its new name; meanwhile notes can be browsed in the web panel.
